Default motor removal, need help plz!!

Hi,
Right in the middle of pulling the 5.2 from my truck.

Got everything but 2 converter bolts. I cant get at them & cant seem to spin the motor (may be locked up).

Anybody got any ideas?? The new motor is ready & waiting. I dropped my tools to come post this looking for an answer!!!!

Thanks,
Steve

just go ahead and pull the engine and the converter will slip out of the transmission. then unbolt it on the ground and put it back in.

reconnect the tranny to the motor and pull the tranny and motor together once they are out you can seperate the motor and tranny then remove the torque converter from the motor... btw have you tried turning the motor with no plugs in it.?

your converter is just on a splined shaft so if you support the tranny with a jack and pull the engine staight out it will be fine. i have done it a few times and havent had any problems. you may need to change the front seal.
