Default Need Help Finding Wiring Harness

I'm searching for a complete engine compartment wiring harness for a
1983 D150 with a 6 cylinder 3.7 L. The vehicle must have air, automatic
and electronic fuel control unit. My vehicle experienced an engine compartment
fire which destroyed about 50% of the electrical wiring. I have searched high and low for a used harness or a source for repair without success. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. It is my Dad's truck. He bought it new and it only has 77,000 miles on it. Keeping the truck running is for sentimental reasons.
Thanks,
CapitanRon

That's gonna be a tough one. If you could find all the plugs somebody like Painless might be able to rebuild it for you. Harnesses that aren't half rotten/butchered are rare.
Might ask these guys www.slantsix.org It's an A body forum but they might put you on the right track.

You might try www.partshotlines.com, usually you can find what you`re looking for there.

Thanks Lugnuts for the link to OEMCONNECTIONS. I may have to go the self repair route and this looks like a valuable resource. I've already bookmarked the site and I will contact them tomorrow to see what is available.

OEMCONNECTIONS doesn't answer email and they don't provide any other contact info on the website. Anyone have a phone number?

Joe and Joan at www.MoparTruckParts.com are great to work with. Sent me wiring diagrams for $5 including mailing. Highly recommend them as a resource.

That seems to be a great place, wish I had known about it a long time ago.

Tried the Las Vegas yellow pages but came up dry. Also tried Verizon Superpages. Seems damned peculiar for 'em to not have a phone. I might be uneasy about dealing with 'em. The only other info on the site is a snail mail adress- OCC Inc. PO BX 3485 Las Vegas Nevada 89044. Have to write 'em a letter and tell 'em to check their E-mails lol. I've never dealt with these guys personally,so don't know about 'em, just found the site a year or so back when looking for parts. I'll shoot 'em an E-mail from my homepage and see what happens. Maybe the link is bad? It pulled up on mine but who knows?

[The web address is good, E-mail went through. Will see if they contact me.]

Well my search has ended. I just struck a deal for an 83 Dodge D150. Looks like I will
be parting it out after I scavenge the wiring harness and several other items. The truck
is in drivable condition, so I will pick it up tomorrow and start the dismantling process. I hate to disable an operational vehicle, but I prefer restoring mine. Thanks to lugnuts and 1996Dodge318 for your help and suggestions.
