That would be a fun project if I were about thirty years younger. I've reached that great age where I'm either taking a leak or looking for a place to take a leak.
Of course that big block would help me get there faster.

I might be interested in a few of those '83 parts if you have any leftover. Particularly the front end sheet metal. The previous owner of my '84 had a fondness for trees.

LOL Guess you could make it quick enough to scare the pee out of you. Got a 440 in mine, almost wet my britches a couple times. Has a habit of turning right or left when you stand on it. Fun,regardless of age. I'm an old graybeard too.

Drove the truck home today. Most of the 45 mile trip was down I-5 at 70 MPH.
The old slant six never missed a beat. I might be relocating the vehicle to Arkansas early 09. bnhynum, If you are still interested by then maybe we can strike a deal. What part of Texas do you call home? I'll be headed for a little
place in SW Arkansas about 40 miles East of Texarkana. Let me know.

lugnuts, the slant six will get me there quick enough.

Sounds good, The restore is going to be a long one so no hurry. I'm just north of Austin, but I did spend some time many years ago running around Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Hi
How`s the interior? I need some interior trim pieces for above the doors on both the right and left sides . My interior is red / maroon , but the parts can always be painted.
