Default Power Steering leak

Got a big problem, my 1992 D150 ram is spewing power steering fluid. First it was from the pressure line, no problem bought the line and went to put it on. Then i noticed the return was leaking, again no problem right? Wrong, nobody has the freaking return line and you can't get it. I know my setup is probably similar to alot of your guys pickups. The return is metal, for about 6 inches out of the sterring box then it is compression fitted to a rubber line (kinda like auto transmission cooler lines). The it goes tot he pump and stops about 4 inches from pump and is clamped (factory clamp, i checked to a metal line that is permanantly attched to the pump resevoir. So what is my best course of action. It is leaking on the meatl line near the steering box, not the rubber. Do i take the screw fitting out of the box and have someone bend me a new hardline and compression fit it to the rubber hose or what? I am going to let someone else do it so they have the chance to screw it up not me! What do you guys think?

How near to the steering box is it leaking.
Can you trim off the bad part and still have enough hard line to clamp to?

Got it fixed. Local mechanic did it. Again so i wouldn't f it up. He said he had to cut the lines straight then hammer a smaller socket then what it actually was on there and use a four foot breaker bar and 2 foot piece of pipe to break the nuts loose. But it is fixed. Got return line from dealer- 32 bucks, not as exspensive as i thought.
