Default wondering some info 87 1/2ton

Im looking at buying a 87 dodge half ton (5 lug 5x5.5) and was wondering what axles are under it since i wanted them for my 99 1500 to make it 4x4.

also is there anywhere i can look up how much it weighs too that way i can scrap the rest since all i want are the axles and i was going to buy the whole thing for 600$ and wanted to make sure i wasn't getting screwed.

The front's a Dana 44,rear's the 8.25'' corporate. What are you gonna do for trans/tranfer case, springs etc.? The T-case won't bolt to your existing trans,
and the crank sensor/flywheel/electrical causes some issues retro fitting the early trans.

i have a np205 transfer case but im actually going to just leave it 2wd (with the v6 that's in it) til i have the money to get drive shafts made. i just want it sitting higher plus the bearings are going in the right front so its just about a perfect time to do it.

i was thinking ill probably end up putting some super low gears in it since it'll end up with 38's would the dana 44 be able to hold lets say a 5 something?

The 44 will have hell with 38s. 35s are about the limit for durability.
