Just score a common nipple style grease fitting at Ace Hardware or Napa, Nemesis. Drill and tap the hole to the appropriate size, screw it in and away you go. Location wise, the fitting should be located closer to the yoke end, where the grease sits in the open cavity space after the end of the driveshaft spline inside the yoke shaft.
I wish I could upload a diagram but for some reason it says my picture allocation is full, which behooves me because I've barely uploaded maybe 5 or six jpegs since I joined the forum about a year ago.

Mine also makes a clunking sound I think mine might the reverse band. My uncle in law told me the same thing yall said already. In fact if I remember correctly my dad's 88' ram also made the same clunk.

Take the differential cover off and measure the backlash. I believe the backlash should be between 5 and 8 thousandths of an inch. From my experience the threaded adjusters dodge uses in their axles (instead of using shims) can move over time.
