Exclamation what the heck is this thing????

what the heck is that for some reason my headlights dont work and they did work i unplugged that and they didnt work again and now that i plugged it back up the headlights worked for a while and then they stopped please help

it has a small connector on it leading into my headlight harness so i dont know maybe a relay but i cant find a replacement so any help would be greatly appreciated

and that will keep my headlights from coming on if that is unhooked. i have such a wiring nightmare in this truck i am gonna just wire my headlight straight to a three position toggle and to the batt. and call it a day i am running into headache after headache with the wiring in this thing

Thats what I did on my old jeep. Those wire problems can be a pain.

any suggestions? any trouble that you ran into that i should look for ?? and maybe a plan that i could go by maybe not exactly follow a few tips and pointers would be very appreciated thanks again DF this site is awesome

I wouldn,t wire the lights straight to a toggle. I would run it threw a relay. The lights probably pull to much juice for a toggle to stand up.

Well my old jeep didnt have much of a wire harness setup so it was easy. I just hooked the wires from the head lights to a toggle switch and a extra battery because the alternator's charging circuit doesnt work either. I only use to it drive at the farm through the hills and all.

but what if my alt. works fine and charges my battery would it work. i was gonna get the 35 amp on-off-on toggle from advance
