that chev, if its running well, should have almost 250 hp. So id say as long as the 39 year old frame is solid its better.

Well I am looking at putting a 318 in my truck to replace the 225. I have the four speed manual transmission. Will there be any problems besides the motor mounts that I will have to deal with? Will the tranny and engine bolt up? Does any one have one for sale close to me in Southern IL? Also I noticed a few of you have lowered your trucks and I would like some info and tips in that dept. The do's and do nots as well as where is the best place for those parts.

 

we should think about a trade. pics of mine are are available in the photo gallery. what you do not see on the passenger side of the bed is where the clear has come off and a bit of the colour. however, no rust. send me some shots of yours if oyu are interested.
