Default Only starts quickly with the pedal to the floor

In the past 6 months my 92' 150 with a 5.2 liter has become harder and harder to start, especially when cold. If I push the accelerator to the floor it starts right up. Can't understand what may be wrong as this is a fuel injected engine.

Goes to "clear flood" mode when the pedal's floored, which basically turns off the injectors by reducing the pulse width. Crank it some with the throttle closed, then floor it and start it. See any black smoke?

See if you have one/both bad injectors. Have someone turn the key to the ON position to cycle the fuel pump while you watch for fuel dribbling from the inj. Shouldn't be any. If all's well try replacing the temp sensor.

Did the test as per your instructions, no black smoke. Which temperature sensor, if there is more than one, should I change? Thanks

Replaced the "Air Charge Sensor" ans still having the same problem. Don't know what else to try.
