Default Shocking Question!!!!!!

I rebuilt the top end of my 1987 D150 (318) now when I give it gas from under the hood it shocks the crap out of me, it has new plug wire's and none of them or the coil wire is touching the engine?
Please help

Check your grounds,engine to body,engine to battery.
Run it at night/in the dark and look for arcing.

Checked, cleaned and reconnected all grounds, even ran a new one from the motor to frame, replaced the external resistor also, could there be something wrong with the distibutor causing this? I check and double checked the plug wires

Check the insulator on the back of the alternator and the alternator hot wire along its length. If there is a short it may not show up at idle while at higher RPMs it may be arcing. If the visual check shows nothing try looking for arcing on the back of the alternator in the dark. I had this problem and it actually melted the bolt off the alternator.

I checked all that and its all good, I did notice that inside the alternator on the back it seems to be wet from oil, the voltage reg. as far as I know is the factory unit, I just got this pickup from my grandfather who was the original owner, I did replace the alternator about a month ago
