make sure to get actual gas line from the parts store and that is probably the problem since it's not supposed to be soft if i were you i woukd change all of the gas lines on the vehicle

Just thought of this... did you get that little cylender type glass filter by any chance? They are JUNK. They will eventually start leaking (if not already) and they SUCK AIR sometimes. That could cause a running problem for you as well.

another item to look at might be to remove the fuel line before the fuel pump and filter, then release it from the tank inlet and blow compressed air through it to make sure something isn't plugging the line itself.

i blew the atcual metal line out and the filter it the one thats metal and has three prongs the intlet the outlet and the return its between the pump and the carb so im assuming that means its after the pump

ok well i go tit to run but it just idles now and realy rought an dseams like its gonna die the exhaust smells like its lean and it will randomly seem liek its gonna shut off and sound like a tractor threw the exhaust if i put it in drive ideling it does fine but if you go to give it any gas it will die if in nuetrel and you rev it it does fine you can even put it in drive and give it gas to power brake it and it will do it it wont bog or nothing

you did change the carb right? the carb might be messed up or incorrectly tuned and yeah your filter is after the pump so that is good

i put a newer carb on it from the junkyard i started the other truck to make sure it ran befor i pulled it also should all of my vacumes have somethign going threw them like the one that runs back to my distributer cuz the have nothing the only ones that actualy are moving anything is the big ones on the carb in the center on the front and back and the little one on the back that goes up to my air boxalso the carb i got is different by one thing the prong that the vacume that also runs the egr wasent the and the was one (prong) not hooked up to anything when i pulled it over by the choke lever that goes down into the intake manifold what should i do with that

By swapping to a newer carb, the donner may have had different requirements for vacum then your truck, make sure all the vacum lines are hooked up to run what you need to on your truck. The dist, EGR,Brake Booster, and so on and cap any unused ports. Just make sure to use the same port on your truck for the distributer as the donner did.
