Default 85 318 pick-up squeaks

85 dodge 318 squeaking. Recently changed valve seals. Took valve covers off and I had the retaining bolts on rocker shaft wrong, got it right now, then loosened belts and took channel locks and held alternator pully and it still squeaks. Maybe Im thinking its the waterpump or my belts are old. I sprayed water on the belts used wd-40 on all pulleys but it still sounds like crap. I spent alot of time and money to fix this truck. Please help with any suggestions.

Do you have Air conditioning? I once had an electric clutch on an AC pump begin Squeaking and it like to drive me nuts before I figured out what it was.

You may have over or under tightened the belts and both can cause a squeak. Try some belt dressing if the tension an all belts is OK.
