Default bogging down 86 w150 318 4x4

i know this question is very general with many possibilities but....when i give it about half throttle or a little less it is boggy for a few seconds then pick up fairly decently, but if i drive like a grandma and ease my foot on the throttle it picks up much quicker than just giving it about half throttle initially. but if i pretty much floor it it gets up and goes fine (I'm assuming because of the accelerator pump when you give it a lot of pedal) so if you guys know of anything that might help that would be great oh and im almost 100% that its running way too rich and im pretty sure that's the problem, so is there some kind of air mixture screw like motorcycle carbs? im not too familiar with car carbs- thanks nick
