I always think of this when it is to late but I should have taken before pics.
Just picture a twenty year old state vehicles engine compartment,I am still chipping tar off the frame and suspension.

i hear ya. mine was a government truck too. VERY greasy and dirty in the engine bay. but they salt up here and rust is terrible. I have a fealing the quater inch of grease and oil is why this old girl hardly rusted.
