i bought a 1989 dodge 1500 pickup with a v6 and a five-speed transmission. i have a 360 that i built and i want to put it in there. has anyone done this swap, and what do i have to do about motor mounts will it bolt right in, and will i be able to use the original transmission that was in the truck.

 

i am currently doing a similar swap. i am going from the 239 to a 318. the only problem i have found is that you need an engine mount extention plate which i'm in the proccess of manufacturing. i'm not 100% sure but i think you can use the same transmition if the 360 came from a truck.

i wish there was one. i have one week left to get my truck finished and out of the shop finished or not. some information on engine swaps would help.
