Question Front seals?

When I put my rig in 4 wheel drive and turn either way i hear a grinding noise. I know it is not my power steering pump. Could it be the seal on the left front? It look wet when I looked at it.

Grinds only in fwd?
Might be outer bearing.
Raise it up turn the wheels and check for the noise and bad bearing.
