I need information on the 89' 360 tbi engine. I have a brand new holley stock tbi for my 318 but I want to put a FI 360 engine from that same year. Would that tbi bolt right? Would any modification need to be done?

Are you saying your swapping your 318 for the 360 or just parts,
well if your swapping are you willing to sell the 318?

i dont think it would. it would probably fit an a v6. if your going 360 you are better off going carb.

318 too 360 swap
I talked too an old boy when i was going too swap out my 318 dakota motor for a 360. the intake would work fine just you would need to swap out your injectors. and you will also need to swap out your tourque coverter, because one is internally balanced and the other is externally balanced.

Im lost on the torque converter. Are you meaning the transmission?? Besides injectors what else needs to be changed out?

My county still does emission testing unless they would pass it with a carburetor? From my understanding the 5.9 wasnt an option for the 1/2 trucks.

the 360 has been offered in all 1/2tonne rams. the power rams and ram chargers usually alway had 360's.

I was told the injector plus from your ecm would send the same voltage to your injector and yes you will need to change touque converter and fly wheel other wise you will have a horrible drivetrain vibration.

I think the left side motor mount is different also. I would definetly run a carb.

you can pretty much make any carburated engine pass emmisions by leaning it out.
