Hey there everybody, my name is Chris & I'm from Roanoke Virginia. I have an 88 Dodge Ram D-50, I lent it to a so called friend, & she wasted the engine! she blew a water hose, got a half *** fix done & tried to drive it back home AGAINST my wishes!! Anyway!!, it has been sitting in my driveway for 10 months!! I don't have a bunch of money to spend & want to get a new motor. I am having a real hard time finding one that is in good shape around here. I have put 3 heads on the motor previously, & would like to know if there is an easy motor swap out there that is easily attainable, I heard that a Nissan motor might fit in there easily?? By the way, it is a 2.6l 4WD. Can anybody offer ANY iformation to help me out?

I don't know if this would count as a 3rd gen, what he has is that baby truck that came with a 4 cyl (shared import platform).
