1977 W200 (M880) with 318 LA / 727 (full time 4WD). Holley 600 (4160), Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Summit 6901 camshaft, Longtube Headers. 10 - 11 MPG highway @ 2,800 RPM w/ 4.10 gears & 33" Yokohama Geolandar M/T's. Around town I imagine anywhere between 8 - 12.

14.5, 14.9, 13.75, 13.9, 14.5, 13.8, 16.4, 14, 15.2, 15.8, 14.5, 15.9, the past couple of times I've filled up and checked the milage.

1989 D-150 3speed automatic, 318, TBI, LWB, 139+ thousand miles. All smog, EGR and such still hooked up and operational. 15" tires as stock and as original as it was when new, as far as I can tell. I believe I am the 3rd owner. It was originally bought second hand from a dealership and used to tow a camper. It still has the brake assist assembly hooked up.

1993 Dodge W150 Clubcab w/5.9l 360 Magnum and NV4500 5-speed Manual (Aprox. 160k miles)

I get on average a combined of 10.5-11 mpg. This is an improvement of about a 1-1.5 mpg from when I first got the truck. (Downhill on the interstate I get around 14mpg) One of the things I did to increase mileage was simply changing my tires to a "lighter ply". Even after going up a size in diameter, it increased my milage.

Nice, and good to know about tire size!

When I made my original post, I had passenger car tires on the truck. A long wheel base truck which usually runs without anything in the bed tends to slip on the gravel driveways I encounter, mine included.

I have since replaced those tires, when they wore out, with a set slightly more aggressive. My milage now is roughly 15.3, 13, 14.4, 17.2, 13.6, 15.2, 12.4, 12.9.
