Default Pic update on my w200

Hi all,
We've been making quite a bit of progress on our basket case '75 W200. I just thought I'd share a few pics with ya'll. We got her running like a top, now we just need to make her road legal and hook up the plow. The pics are in order from the first time we dragged it out of the barn until now. Enjoy.

Normally I'd say that floor boards are over rated, but you did a good job putting them in.

Thanks. The floor consists of barn steel, tin gutters, galvanized steel, over 120 rivets, expanding foam, and roofing tar I say it turned out pretty good!

We filled in the seams and gaps in the floor with expanding foam, I think it was called "good stuff" or something like that. After that had hardened up we went over the seams again with roofing tar to make it waterproof. So far it looks like it should work pretty good.

dreamer1uk we had to pull the intake manifold because somehow raccoon crap had fallen into the intake. Then just for kicks we spray painted it

Nice job on the floor, especially considering you didn't have much to fasten it to LOL. That's what I call determination.

I went to look at a '62 Chevy a few years ago, it looked great from about 20 feet back then I walked up and opened the door. The cavity between the front fender and cowl was full of "Great Stuff" foam insulation. They had filled all the holes then shaved off the outside and covered it with bondo. Not something I would do to sell a vehicle or on something I planned to keep for a long time but every time I look at the fenders on my D150 the thought does cross my mind...........

i just noticed that you have no windshied wiper motor. you might need one if you plan on plowing.

Aw crap. We were gonna start working on the windshield wipers tonight, I didn't pay attention to whether it actually had a motor or not. Where is the motor supposed to be? (Why in the world would somebody remove the windshield wiper motor and not replace it???)

Yup, after the wipers are working we're gonna get the heat to work somehow. Right now the only source of heat is floorboards .

We drove her 10 miles back to my place last night at 45-55mph and she drove like a champ. Another transmission line blew out (due to rust) when we pulled in my driveway, but other than that I couldn't be happier. We also hooked up the plow and hydraulic pump and it works great. Bring on the snow!
