Help Me Please.
I just got a 1991 d150 and it got a little rust spot and some minor cosmetic defects, but all in all a very good truck. There is just one problem, the dang stock wheels are so small. The tires on it now are 215/75 R15. I want bigger tires to lift it off the ground a little more and make the truck look a little better, any ideas on tire size????

the next step up would be 16" tires. i've been wanting to test some 16" tires on my truck for a few years but have not. plus i dont have anymore room for another set of tires. i use this for comparing tire sizes http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html

31s on 15inch rims work well for astetics, suspension and mpg. I believe 33s are too wide, and have yet to come across a set of 32s to test with.
As far as larger rims, I had an older Ram with 16.5s, but it had a body lift.
Now days though, with the newer trucks coming stock with 16s, the tire selection is better. You can find low(er) profile tires for 16" rims that would have an exterior size of a 31 on a 15 inch rim.
As for the from, 235s are the largest I've put on there. I'm affraid to go bigger until I get either new suspension for the front or am otherwise told I can put larger without worrying around suspension travel rub or turn radius rub. Even with a leveling kit or just new suspension, I'd still be affraid to put anything much bigger than 235s on the front. GoodYear Wrangler Radial (235/65?/15) fit well, and look nice enough for the front. They're too small for the rear though.
