Yes the NP205 has gears with no chain. The NP205 is the heavy duty transfer case for our trucks. You will destroy the 727 tranny long before the NP205.

lol im an idiot, I just remembered its the np208 T-case, sorry for the miss-info, just saw the original T-case in the parents shed yesterday, lol, guess thats what happens when its parked for a few years u forget what crap is lol thanks fo rthe info though think ill be looking for a np205.
