just pull them out clean and regrease? what grease do you use?

That will depend upon what kind of hubs they are. The following is one type of auto hub and should give you some idea what you are getting into. This is one of the more complicated hubs and many others are much simpler. As you can read on the bottom of page 4 under lubrication, certain parts inside of the same hub may require different lubricants. Unfortunately the only way I know of to identify your hubs is to open them up and see what is inside so you can get an accurate identification.

thanks! as long as the hubs don't fail again it will be when it warms up a little, it's too cold to do much of anything right now.
