Unhappy Marker Lights stay ON after ignition is shut off on a 92 Dodge Ram

Hey, Im having issues with the cab and marker lights staying on after I have turned of the ignition. I can even remove the key and the marker lights stay on. The only way to shut them off is to pull the fuse. Help please.

A few more details. We removed the switch entirely. The fusible links wire and the fuse wire were still hot (as expected) but the marker lights wire was hot as well when it shouldn't be. Obviously its drawing power from somewhere it shouldn't. Removed all the fuses that may have been contributing to the problem but the lights still stay on. Do you have any idea where that wire may be drawing power from?

Figured it out. The hot wire running from the fuse box to the switch and the marker light wire running from the switch to the lights were melted together a few inches back from the switch. Simple solution to a really irritating problem.
