Default Wiper arm removal

Ok so my wipers crapped out on my 84 Ramcharger. I am pretty sure its the bushings. My problem is I can't for the life of me get the wiper arms removed. Any advice on how to do this. I already missed work today and I will miss it tomorrow unless I get this fixed tonight. I have been out in the the snow/sleet/freezing rain for a hour trying to get these devil arms off.

Take a small screw driver and gently move the clip on the bottom of the arm away from the lock position and wiggle the arm off. That's how I did it when I replaced my wiper motor.
