putting a tach in my 84 dodge

Talking putting a tach in my 84 dodge

i have a 1984 dodge and i got a used tach this tach is different its wire colors are white red orange and yellow i have figured out that the white is ground red is power and orange is the light but i cannot figure where to put the other wire i put it on the + side of my coil and i didnt make it work someone tell me what to do lol

a google search says to connect it to the negative side of the coil.
