need help lowering the front

Default need help lowering the front

hey team i have an 81 d 100 . looking for some insite on how to lower the front end 5 to 6 inches. i have looked every where and haven't found much..... need ideas on what you guys have done. any info would be great thanks.

There is a black bar at the top of this page, select search for lowering and you can find all of the many posts on this site as this question is often asked.

This isn't the best option, but I took out my shocks and simply heated my coils till they collapsed to the height I wanted. Keep in mind it rides like crap, I just did it for now until I get my airbag setup. Same deal as cutting the coils, only way less time involved.
