Hey all, another newbie here! I've got a 1987 D-150 and I need those little plastic fasteners that tie the latch assembly together on the tailgate handle. Am having no luck finding them. If these can't be replaced, is there another way to fix this so I can use my handle to release the gate? Thanks!

 

Dealers around here have them but expensive for a little plastic clip.
A-Zone and O'riellys have assortments in little packages, some plastic, some metal.
Some good hardware stores have metal ones.
