Default Body lift

I got a BDS body lift for my W150, wondering if any of you guys have put a body lift in? Claims i need an aftermarket steering shaft, where I only have the one-peice thats non adjustable. You guys lifted them without getting another steerin shaft? looks like it should be able to flex a bit at the rag joint.

The rag joint does flex a bit, all the time, that is why it is there. It is not made to stretch or adapt to major misalignment.

3" body lift. I know when I changed the coupler, if you let go of the steering shaft when it was detached, it would drop down a foot or so.

I found an aftermarket steering shaft on ebay for about $200 to take care of the same problem i was having. When trying to use the old one it sits to far out of the cup at the steering gear and the rag joint will bind. Search borgenson steering shaft.

By the way if your body kit didnt come with bumper brackets to raise your front bumper and you found some place to get them, the info would be appriciated.
