Hey y'all i have an 87 W150 w/ 318 and a 4sp manual trans.

i'm in the process of building a 360 to drop in her and was curious if there was a way to install a 5sp manual tranny if possible (haven't found much info)

If you guys have any info reguarding this its greatly appreciated

Shouldn't the 5 speed from the 2nd gen ram match up pretty close?

 

i havent really looked but i do have a removable bell housing on my trans so it should work thanks

 

I would like to do this swap myself also, I have looked into in the past but never found anyone that really done it. they all say it can or cant be done. I think we would need to find the driveshafts that will work with it, or maybe have to get them custom made or the old ones reworked. But I would love to put the NV4500 in mine, mine is a 4X4 with the NP435 in it now. Someone must have some info on this or know how to do this.
