The teeth on my driver reg gear are really worn so as it starts to crank the spring forces it back because the teeth are dulled down. I found this 78 reg here but will it fit?


Primed it white to keep from rusting more


Anybody know where to get 3 of these rollers?

 

My wife had a Chrysler Lazer that used that kind of tape gear system but it will do you no good. I got my guide rollers, when I changed them, from the dealer but that was many years ago so good luck. I have found that a friendly body shop can be a great source for info on where to get some hard to find parts.

 

thanks for the advice. I got the passenger door reg installed and working YEAH!.. just need to see if I can machine the sanded down gears on the driver side one and find some replacement wheels.
