Default '82 D-150 Custom

I have a D-150 and the headlights, brake lights, dash lights, and dome light stopped working when I got home last night. I checked all the fuses, but they look fine. The turn signals and reverse lights are the only lights that work. Do you know where else I could look to see if fix this problem.

Thanks in advance,

Nathan

All the fuseable links are good, the headlight switch isn't getting power for some reason.

if there is power at the fuses then there must be a bad wire between the fuses and switches.

Do these trucks have a multi function switch?? I asked a local shop about the problem and he said it might have one behind the steering wheel.

i don't think there is a multi function switch. you could check the grounds on the lighting system under the hood.

You should be dealing with fuse 2. Is there power at fuse 2? Is there continuity thru fuse 2? Power to the light switch comes straight from fuse 2.

I checked all the fuses for voltage and continuity. Each fuse linkage checked out okay. I replaced the headlight switch and the same problem exists. I am going to look at the turn signal switch and ignition switch next.

if all your fuses are getting power then there should be no problem with your igniton switch. there is probably a bad wire between the fuse and switch or a bad ground.
