Default Wheel and Tire recommendation needed. Thanks!

I'm starting the restoration of my 79 D100 Stepside, and one of the first things I'm doing, just to make it roadworthy, is replacing the 15 year old tires that are on it. I also have one wheel that is in pretty bad shape, so I'll take the plunge and go for new wheels at the same time. Kinda want new wheels anyway, I'm not a big fan of the staggered set-up that's on there now. It's currently rolling 7 inch wide in the front, and 10 inch wide in the back.

So I think I'm going with new 15X7 Cragar Nomad II wheels all around. I know the bolt pattern, but not sure on the back spacing. The wheel is offered with a 3 3/4 backspacing, or a 4 1/2 backspacing. I think the 3 3/4 is a better choice,, but would love some advice on that.

Here's the wheel I'm looking at:

For tires, I'm thinking BFG T/As all around in a 235/70-15 size. Sound about right? Anyone out there running something similar to this set-up?

Those are good looking wheels.
I always get the wheel width at least one inch wider than the tread width of the tire for dtreet use.
Seems to give better handling that way, not as much sidewall flex in turns.
