How can I change how much pressure it takes to press down the accelerator on my Dodge D-150. Should I change the spring?

i think there is 2 springs that pull your throtle back. i don't know if i would want to be changing the spings unless they seem too weak.

Are you looking to make the peddle stiffer or softer?

I'd like to make the pedal a little softer. Right now it's kind of hard to press and makes driving the manual a little rough.

have you tried moving the seat forward if you think it is too hard to press. that could make it seem easier.

Since I don't know what year we are working on I don't know if it is carb or TBI. Does the throttle move easily at the carb? In other words is the stiffness in the cable or the carb. If it is in the cable replace it before it sticks like a Toyota.
