'77 D150 coupla questions
Any thoughtful suggestions would be appreciated!
1) Gas mileage sucks bad best is 12 on the highway. 318 1bbl with 3 speed auto. What can I do to get better mpg's. I was thinking a 4 spd overdrive trans-someone makes an adapter plate to put a GM tranny in. Truck is otherwise stock (Ithink..) I use it to haul off trash/lumberyard runs/etc. Would like to make it a daily driver.
2) Rear Disc Brake conversion? Can it be done with Salvage Yard parts? What fits?
