My uncle bought an 88 Dodge 3/4 ton brand new, said the damn thing would never run right from day one because it was the first year for fuel injection. What can be done to fix this?

 

The second year for fuel injection wasn't any better if you are talking about throttle response/power. Short of changing out everything I haven't found any good solutions and my dad and I have had this truck since it was new.

 

Thats what I was afraid of, that sounds like a big job.
