will the 2nd gen bench with the folding arm rest fit in my 84?

I put a seat (split bench with the wide middle arm rest/storage container) from a 2000 Quad cab in my 1985 standard cab.

Width was good, right up against the doors. Height was OK, but I had to completely redo the brackets on the bottom to make it fit the cab. YOu loose a little depth, at 6'1" it's comfy, but I'd like anothe inch or two of leg room...

do you have pictures? what did you do with the brackets?

Only direct swaps will be 1st gen seats. Ramcharger buckets will fit in but I think you have to do a little drilling.

i had a quad cab before this one and that is the style seats i'm looking to get in there. what kind of mods need to be done?
