1985 D50 Running Rough
Just had some issues resolved with fusable links blowing, which caused it not to start. Before I resolved it, I replaced the Ignition Coil (I had clipped the coil wire to allow them to fit over the terminals, not sure that was a good idea), the Starter Relay and the Voltage Regulator. Prior to these issues, the truck had run fairly smooth. Now it is running pretty rough, I'm thinking some spark plug wires may have been misconfigured, in which case, I would need to know the proper configuration. I'd like to try to ensure that I have the wires plugged in right before I go into getting new wires and plugs, distributor cap, etc...

Ok, this is an inline six.
I'm sorry, I don't understand how this translates to how the wires are connected to the distributor cap...
1-5-3-6-2-4
If I have the 6 plugs
How does that tie to
00x00
0x00x
0x00x
00x00
i.e.

Ok, Seal, thanks, found it in the guide too. I had the truck to two different garages after the fusable link issue, (you responded to that too). Before the fusable link problem the truck didn't spit and sputter as bad as it was. Turns out plug wires were COMPLETELY hosed, I don't think there was one wire we on the right plug. A buddy of mine and I corrected all of them and it runs 90% better, timing may be off a hair, but it is not sputtering and backfiring. I'm thinking something happened at one of the garages, am hoping it was not intentional.
