I have an unidentified, second hand flowtech 1 in 2 out muffler dumped out right before the rear axle. Its really low in pitch, but there isn't as much rumble as I'd like, and its only real loud at about 1/2 throttle or more.

If the truck outlasts the muffler, I'll be putting on a totally inadequate glasspack.

That's funny because the Thrush Turbo is the opposite. Good rumble down low but after half throttle my air cleaner sucking in air makes more noise than the exhaust.

I just did the exhaust on my latest pickup, a 92 360 TBI. Usually I'd go true dual exhaust but I wanted to keep this one toned down a bit.

Got rid of the plugged up Cat, and went to 2 1/2'' from the y-pipe back to a Thrush glasspack. From the glasspack, I went to 4'' and made a 90 degree bend exiting in front of the r/rear tire.

Very smooth sound, with a slight rumble at idle, and comes alive once you get it loaded up a bit. Not enough to annoy the sound police but still gives the truck an aggressive tone.

when the snow starts comin down im parking my truck and puttin a new exhuast system. starting with flowtech full length ceramic coated headers, then into 2.5" h pipe, breathing into high flow cats then into super 40 series mufflers, and ending with massive oval tips infront of the rear tires.......hopefully it will be real loud and real shiney
