old 1981 lights

Question old 1981 lights

Have replaced the battery, alternator and voltage regulator and the lights still dim when applying brake and even radio cuts off and on.....giving it gas brightens the lights....any ideas?

Try running a wire from the voltage regulator to a good ground.

Or you have the wrong alt and it's not putting out enough power to run everything
