Default 89 Ram D100 Injector Hesistation

Hey Yall, I have an 89 Ram D100 that has a bit of a problem. Basically as i'm driving it ill have my foot on the gas and for a breif second sometimes (it's completely random) the engine will hesitate like its not getting fuel, the gas pedal will push down easily under my foot and from under the hood i hear a chit (it sounds electrical). This all happens at the same time. Im guessing the problem lies with the fuel injectors cause i also have a very rough idle and my truck likes to stall when its idling. My truck has a dual fuel injection throttle body. If anyone has any ideas as to what it is please let me know.

Thanks

Look down inside the throttle body when the truck is running. At the base of each injector you should see a fine cone of fuel. The cone should be solid and even with no gaps or streams. The base of the cone should touch the sides of the throttle body throat.

So i removed the bulk of the throttle body so i could take a look into where the injectors are, during idle the fuel seemed to trickle down the sides but the engine is shakin cause of the rough idle so i don't know if that could be causing that. Then when i opened the trottle there was a bit of a spray of fuel but no cone like you were talking about.

You only need to remove the air cleaner to see the cones. From your statement it sounds like the injectors either need cleaning or replacement. I would get a can of Seafoam and add the whole can to a tank of gas and use the whole tank before refueling. If this doesn't fix it replacement of the injectors is usually the answer.
