D50's/Raiders/Arrow/Might max..Anyone??
As most of you guy's know I own a 88' Ram 50 Custom (4x4)
I was wondering if anyone else on here own vehicles like mine and any opinions on what I should do to it? Im planning on restoring it, But not to origanal. I love the body style of my truck and I want to keep it as origanal as possible with my own touches. There is plenty to do with these trucks and if anyone else owns one or knows someone who has one or even any of the "off breeds" of this truck, throw some pictures up or let me know your advise and what I should do to the truck!
Here's a list of my plans:
Exterior:
Currently has 3" body lift, I want to add a 2" suspension lift.
I want to do some exhaust work & add a snorkel for off road.
I want to keep stock rims, and put nice sized A/T's on them.
KC light rack/Bull-brush gaurd on it.
Two-Tone paint job, Black gloss on the bottem with a metallic silver on top.
Obviously restore the rust etc. Re-chrome all original chrome.
Interior:
Custom seats that match the old ones, but with harness's etc.
Custom dash lighting (instead of green lol)
Two tone the interior metal to match the exterior.
Engine/Trans:
Okay here is the difficult part...
I wanted to swap it with the 2.3l diesel motor because they get alot of respect from everyone I know of.
But I also heard there are even more choices!
Any idea's??
If anyone wants to throw some idea's at me for what to do that would be great! ill put pictures up of every mod made and maybe you can reconize the ones you guys helped me out with!!
PS: If anyone knows part trucks for sale, or any junk places thats down south im willing to travel! upstate ny everything is rusty lol. (East coast/mid west only please!)
