I am new to this forum, but have been around numerous auto related forums like Autopia and Detailcity. Today I was out with my son at a local barn sale and found a vintage Dodge Ram Hood ornament that I know nothing about. My question would be:

Does anyone here on this Forum know the year and make of the truck it belongs to? Or the generation of Dodge Ram? What about where I would start finding this info?

I am not looking to sell it, but both my son and I are curious about its origin.

This would probably be a question for the 1st gen, earlier Dodge Rams. I will move it over there for you.

 

Here is one from a 1936 Dodge.
Couldn't get it to work.
From what I can find it looks to be 35-36 years. The cars used it too.
