Default Straight pipe still quiet

Well. I just put a 28 inch thrush glasspack on my truck. No tailpipe yet, just ends at the muffler. Before I put the new muffler on, I drove it around a bit. Its loud behind the truck, both with no muffler, and the glasspack, but not driving it. I'm sort of sad. My dad's 97 ram 318 is way louder inside, and pretty loud outside too. He has a flowmaster, 50 series i think.

I wish my truck could set off car alarms. Makes me want a cam. Yes, I do still have a cat.

Venting is over.

My truck is very loud inside but not so much outside. It's got a cat and a thrush welded muffler to a 90 that stops under the bed before the rear wheel

I'm thinking it's because of the cat. I have a thrush turbo on mine, which I've heard on duals with a cat-less 318 and sounded much better than mine. I had planned on taking the cat out but never did. I just live with it for now, but, hindsight...
