Default shifting out to fast. help

i dont know much of the dodge world. tis is actually my first d100 4x4. i just had my torque converter replaced and now im shift out way to quick.

Your throttle pressure(kickdown) sounds out of adjustment.

Not knowing what year you have. It is the linkage that goes from the carb/throttle body down to the transmission.

its an 86 360 original carb automatic of course.

Adjust it so when the throttle is wide open all the way,the linkage is back to its limit equally by adjusting the block down at the tranny.
