They must have had different front ends in those late 70's models. Cause I was looking at a 79' D250 with round headlights

any dodge truck grille usually look go as long as they are not smashed up but my favorite would have to be the 81-85 grille.

Outside of the nostalgic craze from my father's old truck and my dad and brother's late 80's Rams, I would have to say that I agree about the 78 grilles, they are good looking.

I think it'll be a slick truck once your finished. Is the Snowcommander like a snow-prep package or something? does it have a badge on the body?

Sno Commander is just a factory dodge plow truck. i don't think they looked muck more different than a normal dodge w series truck but it had a few stickers that said Sno Commander and it might have had heavier duty springs.

Yeah it was just a factory plow truck setup. It's two-tone blue and white and also if memory servies has side decals running down the length of the truck and on the back end of the decal it says "Sno-Commander", I don't know what weight it is though, I think maybe a 3/4 ton...I can't remember. When I get back to the states I'll take a ton of pictures of it and post them to see what everyone thinks. It's already been a good learning experience and I'm not even home yet. The hard part is finding a frame to swap it with...I'll have a better idea once I know what weight category it's in. Though I will need to find a new plow setup, we swapped it all over to the Ramcharger.
