i doubt there is a problem with your water pump unless you can see it leaking. i would be keeping an eye on the rad fluid level. if it keep dropping you most likely have a leak somewhere that is causing the engine to heat up quicker.

You would definitely know it if the water pump went, I'm with the rest make suet that sensor is sealed up good and tight or you'll just end up with more of the same problems in a week or so

l i went out this morning and noticed what seemed like water coming from under it...so i looked underneath, drip drip drip...located it to be a stupid rubber freeze plug, which i tightened up and it quit leaking....

sooo i hope that fixed it...tightened my sending unit up as well

ok well i thought i had a bad exaust leak last night...long story short the head gasket is blown...which it showed sing of water leak as well
