wood grain

 

I have woodgrain and like it. I think it gives a better contrast to the recesses for the gauges but that is just me.

 

I painted over the old faded woodgrain in my truck with flat black. I think it makes less glare when the sun's at your back. Although I also redid the dash pads in black too, so it tied it together a little better.

 

ive got the wood grain and love it also like the change holder in the wood grain unlike the black one you have now

 

the problem with the wood grain one is my truck has a message chenter where the change holder is, but i do the like the woodgrian

 

do you really need the message center? i don't remember mine having any important lights but it has been a while since i seen one.

 

the only lights i see on it is brake and check engine when i start it. i would figure it is used for codes,

 

i am pretty you could probably relocate those lights. maybe move them to the small window beside the change holder is.

 

im just gonna take out the change holder and mount the message center

 

you will have to modify the wood grain dash to make the message center work because the message center is screwed to the black part. you would probably have to cut the change holder off or at least that is the way is is on my dash.
