Default 1991 250 fuel pump

Truck been sitting up for a while. Not getting fuel. Checked voltatge to fuel pump and voltmeter shows 2.5 volts. Would that be right? Just wanted to make sure before I dropped the tank (lazy). Thanks

Voltage should be 12 volts. Before you drop the tank you might want to find out why you don't have the required 12 volts. I would start at the ASD relay and go from there. The ASD is about in the middle of the circuit and will tell you what to check next.

2.5volts sound like the voltage for the sending unit.
