thanks, truck hasnt cut off since i cleaned the fuel system has low oil pressure though. Anyone know what line is normal at idle

These idiot gauges are all different and, in my opinion, unreliable until you verify what they are telling you. I always recommend you pull the sending unit and temporarily replace it with a cheap gauge from the hardware store to find out what actual pressure you have and then you know what your gauge is telling you.

suprisingly none of the auto parts stores around here has a liquid gauge

You don't need a liquid gauge as the gauge will not actually see liquid oil. Pull the sending unit and take it to your local hardware store. Ask for a 0-100 PSI 2 inch pressure gauge for a water system and the proper size adapters to match the thread size on the sender. It shouldn't cost more than a couple of dollars. I like the 2 inch but a 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inch will also work just fine. This will show you what it will look like.
